Medical insurance plans and payment options
Insurance - Our doctors accept assignment from Medicare as well as participate in managed care insurance programs. Our staff will be happy to review your insurance coverage and submit your insurance claims. Be sure to check with your insurance company to make sure the doctor you are seeing is on your plan. You should make sure you know your individual insurance coverage, as every plan is different. Some plans require the patient to have a referral from their primary care physicians. If your particular plan has co-pay, you will be expected to pay that at the time of your appointment.
Workers Compensation - All of our physicians are BWC Certified as well as our Physical Therapist. We will see new patients as well as referrals. The first visit is a consultation only. Change of Physician is a mutual decision made by the Patient and Physicians during or after the consultation. For questions call the Workers Compensation Coordinator.
Fees - Charges for office visits reflect the individual nature of each patient's problem. A single fee is submitted for each surgical procedure or fracture care, which is comparable to the usual and customary charges allowed by insurance companies in our area. This fee usually includes up to three months of follow-up care, but excludes charges for x-ray or cast changes. Each patient is responsible for the payment of his or her account. If you have no insurance, you will be expected to make payment at the time of service. Our staff can discuss payment arrangements with you. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Personal Check, Medicare, Medicaid and many other Insurance Companies.
