Community activities

My practice is in the same community where my family and I live, so it is very important that I remain active in the community. I've known some of my patients for years before they visited my office.

We also like to give back to a community that has given so much to us. Therefore, we continue to support and take an active role many local programs. I have been the doctor for the Falmouth High School football team for eight years and have had a long affiliation with the Pop Warner football program in Sandwich. We have been sponsors of the Falmouth Road Race and the Falmouth Sprint Triathalon. I continue to give special talks, covering a wide array of orthopedic topics, to school and civic groups.

These activities introduced us to many local families and young athletes in the community - this, in turn, allowed me to gain a better understanding of our community's medical needs.

Other staff in my practice

Orthopedic Specialists prides itself on having the most dedicated and caring staff that the Cape has to offer. We take great satisfaction in giving our patients the best care possible and the attention that they deserve. Our staff helps create a warm and friendly atmosphere so that our patients feel completely at ease during what can be a very stressful time.

Upon arrival to our office, you are welcomed with a warm smile from our receptionist, Pearl Mogardo. Pearl makes sure that all of your insurance information is correct and up to date so your check in process is a pleasureable one.

Kathy Morse, nurse and clinic coordinator, ensures that all of your medical questions and healthcare needs are thoroughly met each and every time you visit us.

Our medical assistant, Ann DeNike, assists Kathy in making your visit with us as comfortable and streamlined as possible.

In addition to taking great pictures, Julie Aiman, our x-ray technician, makes sure that the x-ray process is a painless and pleasant experience.

Jacqueline Comeau heads our medical/legal department. Not only does Jacqui provide you with your medical records when requested, she also books any inpatient and outpatient procedures that you may need.

When calling our office, our telephone receptionist, Cheryl Sampson, accomodates your needs by scheduling an appointment for you or directing you to the appropriate person with whom you need to speak.

Marie Amos and Michelle Bahret work behind the scenes and with patients to make sure that all billing, referral and chart information is in place, up to date and correct.

Our physician assistants, Brian Bird, PA-C and Mark Colucci, PA-C, aid Dr. Wilsterman in all aspects of patient care and evaluations. Their vast knowledge and love of orthopedics make them a huge addition to the practice as well as the community.

Our office manager, Laurie Morse, oversees daily operations and makes sure that the practice as a whole lives up to the degree of excellence that it is recognized for.

Each of our knowledgeable staff is always available to answer any questions that our patients have before, during or after their visit.
