My approach to treating patients
As the senior operating orthopedist on the Upper Cape, with more than 15 years specializing in orthopedics, I take a highly personal and interactive approach to caring for my patients.
I believe the most important aspects of providing quality care are listening to the needs of patients, collecting data by thorough testing, presenting various treatment options and educating and involving patients in a treatment plan. My expertise covers all aspects of orthopedics, with a concentration on arthroscopic surgery, total joint replacement and sports medicine.
Orthopedic Specialists is unique in that we bring quality orthopedic care to your own town, with offices in Falmouth, Sandwich, Mashpee and Bourne. We are committed to patient satisfaction. My practice actively solicits feedback and uses that information to better meet patients' needs.

Upon arrival to our office, you are welcomed with a warm smile from our receptionist, Pearl Mogardo. Pearl makes sure that all of your insurance information is correct and up to date so your check in process is a pleasureable one.
Kathy Morse, nurse and clinic coordinator, ensures that all of your medical questions and healthcare needs are thoroughly met each and every time you visit us.
Our medical assistant, Ann DeNike, assists Kathy in making your visit with us as comfortable and streamlined as possible.
In addition to taking great pictures, Julie Aiman, our x-ray technician, makes sure that the x-ray process is a painless and pleasant experience.
Jacqueline Comeau heads our medical/legal department. Not only does Jacqui provide you with your medical records when requested, she also books any inpatient and outpatient procedures that you may need.
When calling our office, our telephone receptionist, Cheryl Sampson, accomodates your needs by scheduling an appointment for you or directing you to the appropriate person with whom you need to speak.
Marie Amos and Michelle Bahret work behind the scenes and with patients to make sure that all billing, referral and chart information is in place, up to date and correct.
Our physician assistants, Brian Bird, PA-C and Mark Colucci, PA-C, aid Dr. Wilsterman in all aspects of patient care and evaluations. Their vast knowledge and love of orthopedics make them a huge addition to the practice as well as the community.
Our office manager, Laurie Morse, oversees daily operations and makes sure that the practice as a whole lives up to the degree of excellence that it is recognized for.
Each of our knowledgeable staff is always available to answer any questions that our patients have before, during or after their visit.
