Approach to treating patients

"Striving for excellence with innovative and compassionate care in orthopedics."

Our institution Texas Institute of Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine (TiOS) was established in 2004.

Our Orthopedic Surgeons are board certified and subspecialty/fellowship trained. They have extensive experience in sports medicine coverage at the professional, college, and high school levels. They have met the growing demand for high quality orthopedic care with advanced diagnostic tools, innovative surgical techniques and up-to-date clinical training. They remain active in orthopedic research and publication and have written several technical articles for orthopedic journals.

Our patient population is comprised of professional and recreational athletes, as well as adults and children with general musculoskeletal problems. Our promise is to provide the state of the art care to all our patients: from cutting-edge treatments for ligament reconstruction and tendon repair to the very latest in Carticel, lab-grown cartilage restoration techniques. TiOS is committed to going the extra mile for each patient in educating and providing them with the best treatment option.

Our services include care in general adult and pediatric orthopedics with emphasis on sports medicine, arthroscopy, fracture care and joint replacement. Common procedures include: ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, joint arthroscopy, meniscus repair, cartilage restoration and preservation, fracture care, cast and brace application, and carpal tunnel surgery as well as hip and knee replacement.

Our primary goal is to provide compassionate care and help our patients get back to the activities they enjoy. TiOS is proud to serve our community and we are committed to providing excellence in the field of orthopedic surgery.
