My approach to treating patients
Thank for visiting our website. I look forward to serving your needs. My commitment is to quality patient care and evidence-based practice. My clinical focus comprises all aspects of non-operative care for hip and knee disorders, including physical and occupational therapy and related modalities, therapeutic injections, bracing and medical management of musculoskeletal disorders and pain.
My surgical practice consists of all aspects of primary and revision hip and knee reconstruction. This includes minimally invasive techniques, partial knee arthroplasty, hip resurfacing, hip and knee arthroscopy, and the treatment of infections and other complications of total joint replacements. I have a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, robotic assisted surgery, as well as hip preservation surgery.
We have just moved into the NYU Center for Musculoskeletal Care on 38th street and first avenue. It is the first stand-alone facility in the United States to bring all the components necessary to care for joint problems under one roof. It is a very exciting opportunity for all our patients, and will ensure that each of you gets the most comprehensive care, in the most convenient manner possible.
Please visit our Practice Library where you will find a variety of helpful information about the causes of hip and knee pain and the treatment options, hip and knee arthritis, arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as many other topics. In addition, some patient stories and recommended websites with excellent information are included.
Several forms are available in our Forms and Payment section for new patients and for patients who have scheduled surgery. For new patients, we have the "New Patient Screening Questionnaire" and "Medical Release of Information Form" are included. If you print them and fill them out completely prior to your appointment, your time in the office will be decreased and we will have more time to spend discussing your specific condition. There are several informational forms for patients who scheduled surgery as well, which will help you and your family be as prepared as possible.
We will work together to decide what treatments are best for you, so that all decisions are shared and take your personal preferences and values into account.
You matter most! I look forward to meeting with you.
