During my residency at the University of Iowa I developed special interests in arthroscopy, upper extremity surgery and sports medicine. Since joining the Columbia Orthopaedic Group in 1976, I have had the pleasure of treating thousands of patients from across the country. We have an outstanding staff that is dedicated to listening to patients and their families and assisting them by providing the best care possible. Our approach to patient care begins with an accurate diagnosis and teaching our patient about his or her injury or disease process. Those patients that truly understand their problems and their treatment options are better able to choose a treatment that suits them. This results in patients who are better able to participate in their own rehabilitation and return to their active lifestyles.
