My approach to treating patients
I enjoy getting to know my patients and try to listen to their concerns as much as possible, as it is most important to have a good doctor-patient relationship. I find that it most important to educate patients about what the problem they are experiencing involves, what the treatment options are, and help them decide what treatment is best for them. It is important to approach each patient individually. It is also important to be able to offer different solutions depending on the individual. I no longer do surgery, but when I feel that surgery is the appropriate option for treatment, I refer the patient to whomever I feel is best suited to do this, either within my practice or outside of my practice.
