AAOS Personal Physician and Group Practice Web sites

AAOS offers scanning and sizing services for your photograph and logo.
There are three methods for including your photograph and logo on your web site:

1. Send your photograph to the Academy (Attention: Mary Ann Nicholson); we will scan and scale your photo and then load it into your web site. In your letter, please include your name, Academy ID, password for your site, and the name of your web site (e.g., OrthoDoc.aaos.org/Name). Photographs cannot be returned without a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

2. If you have an electronic copy of your photograph, E-mail it to OrthoDoc@aaos.org. We will scale your photo and then load it into your web site. In your E-mail message, include your name, Academy ID, password for your site, and the name of your web site (e.g., OrthoDoc.aaos.org/Name).

3. If you have an electronic copy of your photograph and have the software to properly scale it, you can load your image directly into your web site using the instructions below.

Uploading Files

File uploading is only supported by Netscape browsers (version 3 and up) and Internet Explorer browsers (version 4 and up).

Note: Internet Explorer for the Macintosh cannot upload files.

Your photograph and logo can only be stored in one of these file formats:
   GIF (CompuServe Graphical Interchange Format)
   JPG (JPEG)

Note: Scanned images are typically stored in a TIF (TIFF) format. That format can usually be changed by using software packages such as Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photo Shop.
