My approach to treating patients

I practice orthopaedic surgery with a special interest in hip and knee arthritis including total Joint Replacement. Since joining the Columbia Orthopaedic Group in 1985, I have had the pleasure of treating thousands of patients across the Midwest. Arthritis treatment always begins conservatively. Medications, physical therapy, injections, and lifestyle changes can help dramatically. Once conservative measures fail, operative intervention can be considered. I have done over 6,000 Hip and Knee replacements over the past 20 years. Currently smaller incisions, decreased hospital stays, and quicker recovery are the norm.
