My Approach to Treating Patients
Dr. McMahon provides comprehensive care for shoulder and elbow problems and treatment for basic knee injuries. He founded McMahon Orthopedics & Rehabilitation (MORe) in 2006 after serving 12 years in academic medicine at UPMC and the University of California, Irvine, where he was the Director of Sports Medicine.

The mission at MORe is to provide outstanding care of shoulder, elbow and knee problems with high patient satisfaction. The staff is experienced and courteous. Our efficiency will be obvious; we minimize your time waiting to see the doctor, and make every effort to bill your insurance correctly, diminishing your inconvenience.

Editor of the book, CURRENT DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT IN SPORTS MEDICINE, author of over 100 publications and speaker at numerous international, national and regional meetings, Dr McMahon has cared for many professional and college athletes and for many years was one of the team physicians for the University of Pittsburgh football team. He was awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa and the prestigious Society of American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He continues his research improving treatment of shoulder instability and rotator cuff tears.
