Achievements

Dr. Haverbush has had an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the College of Human Medicine, Michigan State Univeristy, East Lansing, Michigan.Dr. Haverbush has held this appointment since 1978.

Community activities

Dr. Haverbush and Mr. J. Patrick Finn, PAC, have a teaching affiliation with the Physician Assistant program at Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant,Michigan. They regularly provide orthopaedic surgery training to students who choose this elective as part of their education. The students are with Dr. Haverbush and Mr. Finn in the office as well as Gratiot Community Hospital. We have felt this was an important part of our work to provide our skills in helping to educate these young men and women.

Dr. Haverbush has been in private practice in Alma, Michigan and a member of Gratiot Health System as an attending orthopaedic surgeon since his arrival in 1974.
