My approach to treating patients

I have the greatest job in the world-- the sacred duty of being an expert in and providing surgical and conservative treatment of your orthopedic and spinal problems. In many instances, this involves giving you information you can use to understand why you are having pain or difficulties with function so that you can bring youself back to optimal health. Your orthopedic and spinal problems are often caused or exacerbated by other physical and mental maladies. We may therefore orchestrate care with other experts in our community in physical therapy, pain management, rehabilitation, psychiatry, psychology, neurology or other medical specialties. Surgery may be necessary as the best solution to your problems. I am a regional expert in minimally invasive spinal techniques. When necessary, I also offer more traditional approaches to surgery of the spine as well general orthopedic surgery and joint replacements.
