My approach to treating patients

I retired from the daily practice of Orthopaedics in 2002 and, finding my need to be of further service in the medical field, opened a consulting practice in 2006. My current practice focuses on the relationships between the body, mind and spirit of the person with an Orthopaedic concern. My goal (and my passion) is to listen deeply to each person's story, to understand their questions and concerns, and to help them define options of management that are congruent with their personal values and needs. Education in the diagnosis and treatment options, incl. both traditional and integrative alternatives, is a cornerstone of my practice. I see my role as a physician to facilitate the self-healing potential of the individual.
