Medical insurance plans and payment options

Dr. Sydney and OACM participate with most major HMO and insurance plans. Due to the complexity of the insurance programs available today, we advise that you call the office anytime Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM to learn more about your insurance plan's coverage with OACM. When you call, select the phone option for "Apppointment Scheduling".

Co-pay amounts are collected at the time of visit. Patients should present with a valid insurance card, and a referral from their Primary Care Physician (PCP) if required to do so by their insurance plan. OACM will bill your insurance company directly on your behalf. Balances will be billed to the patient in acordance with the insurance company contracts. OACM accepts cash, checks and most major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard and American Express).

Other staff in my practice

I am confident that you will rely on my staff in the same manner that I do. My secretary, Marie, will be able to handle most of your questions and is available every day of the week, whether I am in clinic or in the operating room. We have a special team scheduling my surgeries that will help you through the paperwork process with the insurance companies and the hospitals -- or our own Ambulatory Surgical Center. Whenever possible, I recommend surgery there as my patients have such great things to say about their experiences there. The radiology technicians, and others are all compassionate folks who will endeavor to make your visit simple and reassuring.
