My approach to treating patients
Very simply, I treat others as I would want to be treated.
It is too easy to focus on the injury or the orthopedic problem...I know...I've been an orthopedic patient myself. I endured years of medical treatment for a miriad of injuries when I was an All-American swimmer. These experiences taught me that good patient care involves not only making an accurate and timely diagnosis, but treating the patient with respect and compassion. I also believe in teaching my patients to help them understand the problem. This helps to treat the immediate problem, but hopefully, helps to avoid future injuries/pain.
My practice includes orthopedic fracture care in addition to my specialized interest in Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery (i.e. Hand, Elbow, and Shoulder surgery).
Other staff in my practice
We specialize in all types of orthopaedic problems, including fracture care, complex foot and ankle reconstruction, upper and lower extremity trauma, arthroscopic surgery, reconstructive surgery, sports injuries, hand surgery, and total joint replacements.
Our individual subspecialty interests allow us to provide the highest level of orthopaedic care for each unique need.
