Dr. Wood is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of knee and shoulder disorders. His specialty interests are in arthroscopic surgery, with an emphasis on rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability, and knee ligament (ACL) reconstruction. He performs knee and shoulder replacements including minimially invasive partial "unicompartmental" knee replacements, shoulder resurfacing procedures, and "reverse" total shoulder replacements. He is the Medical Director of Wake Orthopaedics, a practice committed to patient satisfaction and meeting the individual needs of every patient.

Many musculoskeletal conditions can be treated by non-surgical techniques--surgery is just one treatment option. Wake Orthopaedics combines leading edge techniques with proven traditional methods to provide our patients with the best orthopaedic care possible for any musculoskeletal problem or injury.
