My approach to treating patients

The motto for my orthopedic practice is "Motion Is Life". I believe that it is my job to keep my patients active and feeling like they can go out and do what they need to do to remain happy and healthy. I try to use all the experience I have gained in my 16 years of orthopedic practice to allow my patients to lead an active lifestyle. I have specialty fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery and am Board Certified in both Orthopedic surgery and Sports Medicine. I have concentrated on the knee, shoulder, ankle, and elbow, and have excluded spine and hip care from my practice. I am the team physician for The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and have been for 16 years. I am also the orthopedic consultant for many of the local area high schools and Tabor Academy. I serve as the Assistant Chief of Orthopedics at St Lukes Hospital and as the Surgical Director of the Southcoast Surgical Center. I am also the Director of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation for Southcoast Hospitals at the Mashpee Site.
