My approach to treating patients
My practice focuses on hip, knee, ankle and foot reconstruction as well as general fracture care. Problems I see include hip arthritis, knee arthritis, ankle arthritis, sports injuries, fractures, achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, heel pain, and lower extremity deformities such as bunions, hammertoes, and flatfeet.
Our use of cutting-edge technology, such as computer assisted surgery or navigation for total knee replacements, MAKO or Makoplasty robotic assisted surgery, unicompartmental or partial knee replacements, minimally invasive techniques (MIS), the Smith and Nephew Oxinium 30 year total knee prosthesis, the STAR total ankle replacement, Gender-specific joint replacement, cartilage salvage surgery for ankle arthritis, small joint arthroscopy, and pain free surgery using the latest regional anesthesia techniques with OnQ pain pump technology have helped us become leaders in orthopedic care in Los Angeles. I operate at two hospitals which are FIVE STAR rated for joint replacement by HealthGrades. However, our mission for compassionate orthopedic care remains our most valued asset.
I am proud to serve the communities of Downtown Los Angeles, Koreatown, Echo Park, Silverlake, Los Feliz, Larchmont, Hancock Park, Eagle Rock, Mid Wilshire, Monterey Park, Alhambra, Montebello, Glendale, Park La Brea, Hollywood, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Highland Park, and Pasadena.
I believe in meeting patients' individual needs through comprehensive evaluation and treatment designed to help them achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. Many musculoskeletal conditions can be treated by non-surgical techniques--surgery is just one treatment option. We combine leading edge techniques with proven traditional methods to provide our patients with the best orthopaedic care possible. As a Board-Certified graduate of the University of North Carolina Medical School, Medical College of Virginia Orthopaedic residency program, and Duke University fellowship program, you can be assured my clinical credentials are excellent.
