My approach to treating patients

Our practice objective is to provide the highest quality patient centered care. This begins with friendly, knowledgable and cooperative support staff. An accurate diagnosis is essential for proper treatment, and we employ the best imaging technologies combined with an accurate history and physical examination to achieve that goal. We embrace the philospophy of aggressive and appropriate conservative care for degenerative conditions of the spine. If operative intervention is indicated, the most advanced treatment options are used. In our efforts to push the envelope of spine care, we conduct clinical research and participate in clinical trials of new devices and treatments for spinal disease. The Spine Center is a study site for lumbar and cervical artificial discs, and disc arthroplasty is a major focus of our practice.
