My approach to treating patients

The Orthopedic staff at "La Clinique de l'Europe", Saint Nazaire, FRANCE, provides a multidisciplinary team approach for the evaluation and treatment of athletes of all ages. Physicians are easily accessible for consultation, allowing outstanding care to the athlete/patient. Orthopaedic surgeons (Hubert Lanternier, Thurial Collet and Jean Baptiste de Cussac) with fellowship training in Sports Medicine and physical therapists (Mr Egron & Mr Dojaquez) with special interest and expertise in athletic injuries work together to help athletes recover quickly and return to their sport. We evaluate acute and chronic injuries, offering state of the art treatment for complex disorders of the upper and lower extremities. We share much information and surgical techniques with our american colleagues (Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Austin, Detroit...), we often travel to the states, they often visit us. Patients can be treated with the latest arthroscopic techniques for disorders of the knee, ankle and shoulder. Additionally, we perform cruciate ligaments reconstructions with the latest techniques in the knee. The Sports Medicine staff is also available to provide educational and training programs in the community focusing on the prevention and treatment athletic injuries. To contact, feel free to call the secretary team : Chris Viaud or Aline Gueno. + 33 2 51 16 16 74
