My approach to treating patients

The main goal in treating any orthopedic problem is to return the patient to an active, pain-free lifestyle. I approach this process by establishing a warm, friendly rapport with each patient and by listening attentively to their problems and concerns. I strongly believe that communication is essential to effective treatment. My responsibility is to explain in detail each problem, the different treatment options available, and to recommend the best course of action for the particular problem. I will welcome your input and feedback each step of the way. My office staff will work with me to deliver the best possible care in a timely manner. I treat patients with all kinds of orthopedic problems, including arthritic conditions of the hip and knee. I have a particular interest in sports-related injuries. Following my residency, I spent an extra year of training concentrating on arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder.
