Approach to treating patients
Greater Metropolitan Orthopaedics was founded by Dr. Jeffrey Sabloff in 1976. Since that time, the practice has grown to five offices spanning Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Our philosophy has always been to provide the best care for all our patients from a dedicated team of physicians, therapists, and staff.
Greater Metropolitan Orthopaedics is proud to offer physical therapy services conveniently located at our Clinton, Waldorf, Alexandria, and Washington, DC offices. All aspects of musculoskeletal rehabilitation are covered. Supplementing our acute rehabilitation programs, Greater Metropolitan Orthopaedics offers a work hardening facility to assist patients in returning to their employment with confidence and comfort. Additionally, we provide bone densitometry testing in most of our offices.
Our physicians at Greater Metropolitan Orthopaedics have been trained to treat the full range of problems affecting the musculoskeletal system, including injuries and degenerative processes involving the extremities and spine. We employ a wide range of treatments including medicine, physical therapy, exercise, bracing, and casting. Only as a last resort do we recommend outpatient or inpatient surgery.
Special areas of expertise include foot and ankle, hand and microsurgery, joint replacement, scoliosis and spine, sports medicine and arthroscopy, and shoulder and elbow problems.
Our Mission:
1. Provide comprehensive orthopaedic services to our patients in a kind, caring and professional manner.
2. Establish long-term valued relationships.
3. Offer state-of-the-art orthoapedic techniques with minimum discomfort.
4. Assist and enable patients to return to their regular routine as quickly as possible.
5. Educate and promote regular preventive orthopaedic care which will help our patients enjoy a lifetime of good health.
Our physicians and therapists at Greater Metropolitan Orthopaedics, in conjunction with your personal doctor, will develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Our priority is your rehabilitation as quickly and as fully as possible. Surgery remains as a last resort only when other less invasive modalities have not been effective. Greater Metropolitan Orthopaedics is committed to providing quality patient care for you and your family.
