My approach to treating patients

Since founding the Raleigh Hand Center in the 1980's, my primary goal has always been to develop a medical practice dedicated to the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions. By offering in-house X-ray, therapy and electrodiagnostic testing in a single location, we have been able to provide efficient, expert, cost effective care to patients with all types of problems from the hand to the shoulder.

Although conservative, non-operative treatment is recommended in most cases when feasible, there are times when surgery may be required. In patients requiring surgery we are fortunate to have outstanding anesthesiologists and a dedicated "hand team" of surgical nurses at our primary surgical facility. In 2012 we anticipate opening a same-day surgery center, Capital City Surgery Center. There are no physician assistants or residents-in-training in our office or primary surgical facility.

After several decades The Raleigh Hand Center is still the only facility in eastern North Carolina dedicated solely to the treatment of hand and upper extremity problems. Call our office if you need an appointment or have any questions.
