Dr. Frank Cook passed away suddenly on October 2, 2014
In his honor we will be carrying on his passion for helping people, whether family, friend, colleague or patient. We are here for you. The office remains open for patient referrals, records, billing or payments. Please don’t hesitate to call .
My approach to patient care is to follow the elegantly simple advice given to me as a young medical school student over a sack lunch by Philip Posner, Ph.D., and a “non-physician” no less.
Dr. Posner advised, “Listen to your patients – they know what is wrong with them”.
Over the years of training, I’ve been blessed to work under some of the greatest doctors in the world. What they all had in common was the ability to slow down and let the patient explain the problem. They taught me that the most powerful diagnostic tool is the patient’s history (explanation of the problem) and that most diagnoses can be made by simply listening.
