Community activities
I was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri and attended the St. Louis Public Schools.
College was completed at the University of Missouri, St. Louis and I graduated medical school from Saint Louis University. I completed 6 years of post graduate training in Orthopedic Surgery in Chicago, Kansas City, and New Orleans. I then returned to St. Louis and began private practice in Orthopedic Surgery and Spinal Surgery in 1980.
My practice is in the same community where I live with my wife and 3 children. It is very important that I remain active in the community. I've known some of my patients for years before they visited my office. I believe in giving back to the community that has given so much to me. Therefore, I support and take an active role in many local programs.
