I am devoted to offering patient satisfaction through an enhanced quality of life. My goal is to provide patients with state-of-the-art comprehensive care and treatment of the musculoskeletal system.
I was born and raised in Southern California. I attended Medical School at the University of California at Irvine with honors. My internship in general surgery and residency in orthopaedic surgery was continued at University of California, Irvine. In 1997, I moved to Hendersonville, TN and established my practice. My wife, Jill and I have been married since 1993 and have a teenage son and daughter.
My hobbies include collecting sports memorabilia and I enjoy attending local sporting events and restaurants.
I am a Board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, as well as a member of the Tennessee Medical Association.
I am the only orthopedic surgeon in the area that performs Partial Knee Replacements. I use the Biomet Oxford Partial knee. For Total knee replacements I use the Smith & Nephew 30 year knee.

Receptionist / X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant
When Christy joined our practice in 2008 she had already been in orthopedics for over 10 years. Her direct phone number is 615-264-2600 ext 11. She primarily works in the Hendersonville office, but travels and assists Dr. Fogolin in Portland in the front and back office. Her priority is patient care so you will find her always willing to help. She is happily married and a devoted mother. She is also a Certified X-ray technician in extremities and spine.
Karen X-ray Technologist / Billing Coordinator
Karen is the newest addition to our practice, joining in 2010. She has been an ARRT registered x-ray technologist for over 20 years and worked in Orthopaedics for the last 15 years. She has 12 years prior experience in insurance coding and billing and is more than happy to assist you with any billing concerns. She is a compassionate person who spends her summer vacation at camp for children with Muscular Dystrophy. Karen has 4 grown children and is a devoted grandmother.
Pamela Wyman Practice Administrator
Pamela's goal is quality healthcare with high patient satisfaction. She has thirty plus years experience in management, in this Orthopaedic practice since 1984. She is a Medical Assistant and a Certified X-Ray Technician. She will do her best to answer the most commonly asked orthopedic questions. If you have a problem, she wants to hear about it. She simply likes people and that's why she enjoys this career so much. She has the opportunity to work with patients as well as employees, venders and the community. She wants to be thought of someone who can usually be seen smiling and "mean it". She is a loyal friend and devoted family person.
