Approach to treating patients
EL DORADO ORTHOPAEDICS is the association of 3 prominent surgeons in Folsom, CA. Each fills a specific niche in the care of orthopedic and sports conditions. All doctors are currently accepting new patients, and our appointment waiting period to see a doctor is typically about 3 working days, and can be as short as next-day!
Dr. CEDRIC L. WONG is a Board-Certified orthopedic surgeon with special interest in sports injuries. He takes care of most orthopedic conditions in patients of all ages. His prior duties in the US Air Force give him extensive experience in the care of sports injuries, including arthroscopic surgery, and fracture care, but he cares for nearly all non-spine orthopaedic conditions, including hand and joint replacement surgery
Dr. PETER SFAKIANOS is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who concentrates on knee and shoulder conditions. He practiced in the Sacramento and Jackson areas for over a decade prior to settling in Folsom.
Dr. ROBERT SLATER is Board-Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. He has lived and worked in the Sacramento region since 1995. His practice is devoted to disorders of the upper extremity including abnormalities of the shoulder, elbow and hand such as arthritis, fractures, damaged tendons and nerve injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, and work-related injuries to name a few.
The doctors see all their new patients and most follow up patients. In some cases, you may see our physician assistant. We deliver prompt evaluation and complete treatments plans. Patient input is encouraged and requested. Non-operative options are explored before considering surgery in all cases.
