Community activities

Visiting Faculty, Ulaanbaatar national Trauma & Orthopaedic Research Center (NTORC), Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - October 2008 SIGN (Surgical Implant Generation Network) Femoral & Tibial Nailing Course for orthopaedic surgeons working at the Trauma Center. Also stayed for 2 weeks to assist with surgery and provide instruction. I paid my way to Mongolia and received no remuneration. The Trauma Center now has a life-time supply of femoral and tibial nails for trauma surgery. The SIGN story is both sad & heart-warming. For the complete story, go to:
