My approach to treating patients
Dr. Moola is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Faculty of Medicine, 1997 and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at McGill University in 2003. He is double fellowship trained in Shoulder Arthroscopy at the University of Toronto in 2004 and in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2005. These provided a subspecialty expertise in orthopedic disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
Dr. Moola is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He is an active member of the Canadian Orthopedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Canadian Joint Orthopedic Initiative for National Trials of the Shoulder and the British Columbia Medical Association.
Dr. Moola is a member of the Clinical Faculty in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of British Columbia. He has cross appointments to the Divisions of Upper Extremity and Trauma Surgery. Dr. Moola is an active staff member of the Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge Hospitals. His operative practice is based at these sites as well as the Cambie Surgery Centre.
Dr. Moola has specific interest in shoulder and elbow, hand and wrist surgery with a focus on arthroscopic reconstruction, upper extremity joint replacement and traumatic injury reconstruction.
