My approach to treating patients

"I would like to thank the people of Ozark who have welcomed my family and me into their community. Everyone has been warm and gracious, and we feel we have found a great place to call home.

I grew up in a military family, and during my Father's 22 years service, I traveled extensively. We ultimately settled in Florida. I attended the University of Central Florida where I played college football and first became interested in orthopedics. I then attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Since the Army paid for my education, they sent me to Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, for Internship. I later did my residency in Orthopedics at the North Shore-Long Island hospitals in New York.

During my military career, I served as Chief of Aviation Medicine for the United States Army Aeromedical Center for three years. During my tour at Fr. Rucker, I met my wife, Kimberly, a life-long resident of Dothan, Alabama. I also served as Chief of Orthopedics at Ft. Polk, LA, for two years. At Fort Polk, I had the honor of treating our brave men and women who were returning from duty in the Middle East where I performed over 500 cases each year and specialized in sports medicine."
