My approach to treating patients

Orthopaedics is the broad based medical and surgical specialty dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. The frequency and impact of these disorders and injuries, combined with recent advances in their diagnosis and treatment make orthopaedics a critical part of health care.

Having completed fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopaedics allows me to provide advanced care for injuries, deformities, and diseases of the bones, joints, muscles, and tendons in children.

Having been awarded a subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery assists me in the care of injuries related to athletic activities, often using arthroscopic methods.

I will work in conjunction with each patient's family doctor or pediatrician and the surgical and medical specialists at Paul B Hall Regional Medical Center.
