My approach to treating patients

I am an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult and pediatric spinal disorders, in addition to general pediatric orthopaedics. My practice is characterized by commitment to personalized, high-quality, state-of-the-art patient care and service to those in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

I am on staff at the regional medical center in Marquette, Michigan and at SM-UCLA and Orthopaedic Hospital Los Angeles, California in order to achieve these goals. My primary practice experience and research interests are in spinal deformity, trauma, infection, spinal tumours and the multiply operated spine, but I also practice general pediatric orthopaedics. THis includes fracture care, clubfoot care (both operative and the non-operative Ponseti Technique) and treatment for dysplasia of the hip. For the international patient, I speak German and Spanish as second languages, and enjoy learning other languages.
