My approach to treating patients
My name is Curtis D. Miller, M.D., and I am a partner in Canyon Orthopaedic Surgeons practicing in Phoenix, Glendale, and Goodyear, Arizona. I am a Board certified orthopaedic surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional orthopaedic care for the past 15 years. I have been at Canyon Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1996. Prior to this, I served 4 years in the United States Air Force as a General Orthopaedic Surgeon and Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery and Podiatry in the 355tth Medical Group at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ.
I've gained an immeasurable amount of experience in many aspects of general orthopaedics and have a specialty interest in Total Joint Replacement.
As a graduate of Loma Linda University Medical School, with more than 20 years of surgical experience in the Operating Room, you can be assured my clinical credentials are excellent.
In addition, I've completed a post-residency Fellowship program in Lower Extremity Adult Reconstructive Surgery, in Buffalo, New York, under the supervision of Kenneth A. Krackow, M.D., to complement my broad experience in general orthopaedics.
I believe continuing education is a key to providing excellent, ongoing patient care. As a result, I have completed skills training programs in Minimally Invasive Total Knee Replacement, Minimally Invasive Total Hip Replacement, and Computer Assisted Total Joint Replacement to further enhance my surgical skills and clinical knowledge.
I believe the most successful patient care results from a two-way treatment process.
From the very first visit, I make a conscious effort to establish a friendly rapport with each of my patients to encourage open and direct communication.
I listen to your needs, try to include them in my diagnosis and treatment decisions, and welcome your input and feedback each step of the way.
