My approach to treating patients
Welcome to the web site of Dr. Charlotte Harris.
I created this site to familiarize you with my orthopaedic practice, dedicated staff, and the services we provide. I hope you will enjoy this site. I have tried to give you some background on who I am and what I do.
You will see that I have been practicing in Maysville now for 17 years. My practice has been successful for many reasons, but most importantly because I believe that patients appreciate quality time and information. I truly believe that an educated patient is a compliant patient, meaning that when you understand your condition, you can help us help you more effectively. The following are just a few of the services we provide:
Total Joint Replacement, Fracture Care, Hand Surgery, Arthroscopic Surgery, Arthritis and Tendonitis Management, and on-site X-Ray Services.
I am board certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and have been since 1989. I graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1982 and completed a 5-year Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Medical College of Ohio in 1987. My special interests are total joint replacement, fracture care, and hand surgery. I do all types of orthopedic procedures except spine surgery.

Other staff in my practice
I feel I have surrounded myself with quality people in my practice. The office is managed by Barbara Wood, who has been my office manager since I opened my practice in 1989. Teresa High joined us in October of 2000 and handles insurance and billing. Alisha Arrasmith joined us in March of 2001 and is our receptionist. We have on-site x-ray services provided by Amber McCane, RT. Amber joined us in November of 2002.
My staff is committed to giving you the best patient service possible when you come to my practice. Each member of my staff is a professional with experience in working in a physician's practice. My staff and I work as a team for you - we are all here to answer any types of questions you may have.
