Arthroscopic Surgery, Rehabilitation
My approach to treating patients
Surgery can often relieve pain, restore physical function and improve the quality of life. There must be a shared decision to proceed with an operation with input from both the surgeon and the patient. There must be careful consideration of the risks, benefits, and alternatives to surgery. In some cases, surgery is the first and best method of treatment.
When patient care honors the balance between a conservative and an aggressive approach to an orthopedic problem, patients have the best chance for excellent results.
