Approach to treating patients

Albemarle Orthopaedics, PLC was established in April 2000 as a general and subspecialty orthopaedic practice. Dr. William T. Grant and his staff strive to provide the highest level of care for our patients, emphasizing a conservative approach and advancing into surgical treatment when indicated. Our mission is to grow with the community and in partnership with Martha Jefferson Hospital/Outpatient Surgery Center to provide the highest level of orthopaedic services. Dr. Grant is Fellowship trained. This involves additional specialty training after the traditional Internship and Residency programs. He will provide highly personalized, current care for your musculoskeletal health needs.

The practice specializes in General Orthopaedics for all age groups, Sports Medicine, Knee, Shoulder, Hip, Elbow and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Grant is Fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and emphasizes arthroscopic techniques in knee and shoulder surgery. He completed his residency training at the University of Virginia.

Albemarle Orthopaedics has established a strong working relationship with the major Physical Therapy programs in the area. With the assistance of well trained and experienced therapists, our patients are expertly guided through the rehabilitation process.
