My approach to treating patients

Although I treat all musculoskeletal problems, I specialize in knee and shoulder injuries, including knee ligament reconstruction. A carefully performed history and physical exam along with appropriate XR, MRI, and other studies can facilitate the decsion-making process for patient and orthopedist and in most cases lead to non-surgical treatment. In cases where surgery is required, minimally-invasive techniques such as arthroscopy can speed recovery and can be performed in the outpatient setting. After completing a fellowship devoted exclusively to knee and shoulder injuries, I have maintained a teaching position at the NYU/Hospital for Joint Diseases in NYC where I am able to keep current on all available technologies to improve patient outcomes. I also maintain offices in upper Fairfield County and lower Litchfield County, CT.
