My approach to treating patients

I am pleased to represent West Virginia University as the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics. We are a growing department with a triple focus on patient care, research, and education. I personally continue to have an active clinical practice in adult degenerative spinal disorders such as disc herniations and spinal stenosis, with particular expertise in problems related to the cervical spine. I take pride in delivering personal care for the patient, be it in the office or operating room, yet am able to utilize a depth of services from non-surgical to surgical options to nursing care because of the available resources at our institution.
