Medical insurance plans and payment options

We participate in most major insurance plans.

For your convenience, we have a separate telephone line for matters pertaining to billing and insurance. The number is (717)-637-6356.

Certain types of orthopaedic services have separate costs from the basic office charge. Fracture care and hospital surgeries are billed using a global fee. If you are a member of a managed care program, it is your responsibility to bring the referral form. Our fee schedule is competitive and reasonable.

Payment is required at the time of service for office visits, co-pays, supplies and non-covered services. The practice is not obligated to accept as full payment any amounts paid by an insurance plan except companies in which we participate. Reduction/rejection of your claim does not relieve your responsibility.

Patients are responsible to know their insurance coverage; it is not our staff's responsibility.

Please bring current insurance ID cards with you every time. We accept personal checks, cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover. Our staff is experienced in discussing payment options.

Workers' Compensation claims cannot be submitted unless reported to your employer. Disability forms will be completed within 10 working days.

We participate in Medical Assistance, but only in the direct product, not the MA Replacement Products available from HMOs and other private insurers.
