Our Approach to Treating Patients
My name is Wade Krause and I am an orthopaedic surgeon. My office is located in Floresville, TX and I work closely with Connally Memorial Hospital. Having grown up in Three Rivers, TX, I am very familiar with South Texas and am glad to be “home”. My staff and I look forward to helping provide orthopaedic care to the people of Wilson County and the entire South Texas region.
I currently treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems, and have a special interest in problems of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. I recently completed a year-long fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and have a special interest in sports-related injuries.
At South Texas Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine it is our goal to safely and effectively treat your musculoskeletal problem to allow you to achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. This begins with communication. We take pride in listening to patients and want to make sure we completely understand your orthopaedic problem and how it is affecting your life. Once we understand your problem, we work with you to develop a treatment plan that best suits your goals for recovery. During your visits with us, we strive to ensure that you are well informed about your condition and fully understand the diagnostic and recovery processes. It is also our responsibility to ensure that you are presented with all of your treatment options including both surgical and non-surgical treatments as well as the risks and benefits of these options. Furthermore, my professional staff and I will provide you with patient education materials, (e.g., web sites, pamphlets, and video tapes) that give you added appreciation of your condition and treatment options and help make your decision-making, treatment, and recovery as quick and pain-free as possible..
