My approach to treating patients
I practices general orthopedics seeing most any musculoskeletal condition but specializes in Joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee and shoulder. Other interest include shoulder disorders including rotator cuff disease and common hand and foot conditions. I treats arthritis in all stages including rehab, injections and other options and enjoys seeing sport related injuries including caring for the aging athlete. I did a fellowship in orthopedic traumatology to obtain extra training in fixation of difficult fracture and management of trauma. I do treat a wide variety of conditions but if there is someone else in the practice with more expertise I will ensure each patient gets top quality care. I am board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. My practice philosophy is that of patient directed care. This means diagnosing each patient’s problem, and explaining the available options for treatment and helping the patient decide which course of treatment best fits their particular situation. I works closely with Kristine Steele PAC a master’s level trained physician assistant to provide personalized care of each patient.
