My approach to treating patients

My clinical practice involves the comprehensive management of all conditions and disorders of the hand and wrist. This approach includes the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of common hand conditions such as Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, ganglions, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, tendinitis, congenital deformities ("birth" deformities), Dupuytren's Contracture, infections, fractures/dislocations, sprains/strains and lacerations.

In addition, I specialize in the treatment and rehabilitation of severely traumatic injuries such as amputation and replantation, transplantation, and microvascular surgery. I also have a special interest and expertise in the surgical management of Quadriplegic/Tetraplegic patients who have lost function of their upper extremities after Spinal Cord injury.

Of great importance, I see to it that all of my patients have direct access to other specialty-related entities to maximize their recovery and prognosis. These include, but are not limited to, expert Rehabilitation, Neurology, Prosthesis, and Surgical teams.
