    A handy, searchable, reference work that seeks to explain, in non-medical terms, current concepts of disease, illness, and treatment. As opposed to much of what you find on the web, it is a highly reliable source of information.

  • PubMed
    A link that will permit the experienced searcher to look for articles from the world's medical literature, as indexed by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and maintained by the National Institutes of Health.

  • QuackWatch
    This excellent reference site continuously reviews, and when appropriate, debunks, claims and information about medical, chiropractic and other alternative treatments and therapies. If a recommended treatment seems too good to be true, check it out here first.
