Approach to treating patients
When you make an appointment with Orthopaedic Associates of Fargo, you WILL be seen by a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon--the most qualified person to diagnose and treat your injury or bone, joint and muscle problem.
The physicians of Orthopaedic Associates care for injuries or illnesses that affect the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves. This includes conditions such as sprains, strains, fractures, hyperextensions, tendonitis, bursitis and arthritis. We perform arthroscopic surgery and have extensive experience in hip, knee and shoulder reconstructive and replacement surgery. We have strong expertise in the field of sports medicine and serve as the physician consultants for the Red River Valley Sports Medicine Institute.
Orthopaedic Associates of Fargo is a well-known and respected team of orthopaedic physicians. We serve a wide area of the Dakotas and Minnesota.
We work as a strong team, and you will benefit greatly from our supportive and positive atmosphere. We often confer with each other and discuss alternative courses of care, especially in complex cases. Each of us brings new ideas and techniques for the team to explore. We keep abreast of new techniques and advancements through continuing medical education.
In short, when you see an Orthopaedic Associates physician, a wide body of knowledge and experience comes into play.
We have a unique philosophy that places an emphasis on getting well, healthy and active. This is very apparent at our clinic in Fargo where you will see people of all ages working to recover from injuries and to safely restore their bodies to full use. Athletes come here for specialized care of injuries and performance enhancement training.
We are more interested in prevention and rehabilitation than short-term cures. Our goal is to restore you to an active lifestyle.
We often see patients for second opinions concerning orthopaedic problems. Should you wish a second option on our treatment recommendations, we will refer you to another physician within our practice or at another clinic.
Our orthopaedic practice offers strong expertise in the care of athletes. About a third of our work is related to sports medicine. Each physician reserves a part of his week for appointments to treat athletic injuries at our sports medicine clinics. The physician, an athletic trainer and a physical therapist establish a diagnosis and complete treatment plan.
