My approach to treating patients
Modern day orthopaedic care requires that the orthopaedic surgeon demonstrates comprehensive skills regarding the treatment of his or her patients. Communication and education are of utmost importance to provide, you, the patient, the ability to make informed decisions regarding treatment of an orthopaedic condition. I thoroughly believe that the fundamental relationship between the surgeon and the patient be based on trust, mutual understanding, and transparency. I believe in meeting patients' individual needs through comprehensive evaluation and treatment designed to help them achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. Many musculoskeletal conditions can be treated by non-surgical techniques, however, in certain cases surgery is the recommended treatment option. In my practice, we combine leading edge techniques with proven traditional methods to provide our patients with the best orthopaedic care possible. When we consider treatment alternatives, I present a realistic outlook on the results we can achieve in both the short and long term. In my practice, I currently manage all facets of orthopaedic care. With additional fellowship training in shoulder and elbow reconstruction, I treat arthritic, traumatic, and atraumatic conditions of the shoulder and elbow. With modernized and up to date skills regarding arthroscopy and arthroplasty of the shoulder and elbow, I am capable of addressing most pathologic conditions of these important joints. If you'd like to learn more about our orthopaedic practice, please contact us by phone or email.
