My approach to treating patients

___________________________________________________________ My mission, in the practice of Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery, is to deliver the best possible care to my patients. Orthopedic Surgery is the specialty of Medicine that deals with the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of medical disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, and the tissues that connect them). The suggested treatment can be nonsurgical or surgical. I like to emphasize nonsurgical interventions whenever possible and medically appropriate. I spent time as a college student driving a wonderful family practioner on house calls. We would visit patients far from town in all settings. In addition this remarkable man allowed me to accompany him on his hospital rounds. His philosophy is that medicine is a “calling”. I believe as he does.
