Additional Staff

Renee Wright
PA-C
In addition to our highly skilled orthopedic surgeons, we employee Physician Assistants (PAs) as part of our medical team. Renee is a certified Physician Assistant who assists in surgery and manages patient care in the office. Our Physician Assistants working with the supervision of our orthopedic surgeons, deliver the highest quality of medical care.

Physician assistants are licensed healthcare providers who practice medicine or surgery with the supervision of a physician. They bring a comprehensive skill set to patient care and can conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventative health care, assist in surgery and often write prescriptions.

Marchelle Coleman
PA-C
Our Physician Assistants are certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and have met all requirements for certification through the State of Indiana. Marchelle is a certified Physician Assistant who works closely with our physicians to provide the best possible care. She also assists our physicians in surgery.

To earn the PA-C or Physician Assistant-Certified credential, PAs must complete an intense accredited PA educational program, often housed in medical colleges or universities. Then they must pass a national certification exam, demonstrating a breadth of general medical and surgical knowledge. To stay certified, PAs must earn at least 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and pass a recertification exam every six years.
