Approach to Treating Patients
The surgeons of Grossmont Orthopaedic Medical Group specialize in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders of adults, teens, and children. All of our doctors are fellowship trained in subspecialty areas of orthopaedics. Drs. Lake and Hanson specialize in lower extremity disorders with expertise in hip and knee replacement. Dr. Lake is an expert in total and unicompartmental knee replacement and Dr. Hanson's skills includes anterior approach hip replacement surgery. Dr. DuBois specializes in shoulder surgery with particluar expertise in shoulder replacement surgery including the new reverse ball and socket replacemet. Dr Chodos is skilled in the surgical treatment of foot and ankle disorders. All of our doctors have advanced training in arthroscopy, sports medicine and fracture care. Their training, dedication, and experience is the prescription for successful orthopaedic treatment.

Community Activities
Our physicians are members of the Western Orthopaedic Association and Dr. Lake was the past president of the San Diego chapter.

Drs. Lake and Hanson have each been Chief of Orthopaedics at Grossmont Hospital. Dr. DuBois is currently Vice-Chief of Orthopaedics at Grossmont Hospital.
