My approach to treating patients

Dr. Goldstein is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine. He is Director of the Spine Service and Associate Director of the Spine fellowship at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. His surgical interests include the spine.

Dr. Goldstein is on the faculty of the NYU School of Medicine and Director of the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Spine Service. He is a recognized expert in spine surgery and offers a comprehensive surgical approach to all spinal disorders. Dr. Goldstein is a national leader in the area of minimally-invasive spine surgery and one of the first to perform disk replacement surgery in the neck and lower back. He also lectures and instructs other surgeons on the newest surgical techniques. He is a member of several professional societies including the International Society for Study of the Lumbar Spine, the North American Spine Society, the Cervical Spine Research Society, the Scoliosis Research Society, and the Spine Arthroplasty Society. Dr. Goldstein is board certified by both the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Board of Spine Surgeons. Dr. Goldstein has appeared regularly as a consulting spine expert for ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Newsweek, and other media.
