Approach to treating patients

As an experienced physician with years of specialization in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Selby takes a highly personal interactive team approach to caring for our patients. We always strive to recommend the most effective and least invasive treatment that will treat your condition.

We believe the most important aspects of providing quality care are listening to the needs of patients, thorough testing, communication, patient education, presenting treatment options to the patient and establishing a relationship with our patients involving them in the treatment plan.

The practice specializes in knee and shoulder surgery. This includes the diagnosis and treatment of all surgical problems of knees and shoulders including total joint replacement surgery; arthroscopy, ligament and cartilage surgery, shoulder instability and rotator cuff surgery.

During an initial visit/consultation, patients can expect an assessment and explanation of their problem and the plan for evaluation and/or treatment.

The practice is unique in that we provide time for the patient to ask questions to gain a better understanding of what to expect.

We are committed to patient satisfaction. The practice actively solicits feedback and uses that information to better meet patients' needs.

We look forward to having the opportunity to work with you, and to helping you achieve your best possible musculoskeletal health.
